Questions will be allowed at Lauderdale West Zoom meetings. The President, or any other Board member, will answer a question by recognizing a participant with a raised hand. You may also be recognized by typing your question in the Chat window. Questions may be answered during the meeting or at the end, at the discretion of the Board. Questions asked by each participant are limited to three (3) minutes. When you are recognized, please give your full name, not your nickname. The meeting moderator will mute all participant calls with the exception of the person being recognized by a Board member.
If you want to speak your question when recognized, your computer or other device must have a microphone. If you have a webcam, it will have a built-in microphone. Laptops with a webcam, tablets and smartphones all have microphones. Do not call in with a landline or smartphone if you have a microphone. If you do, it will cause audio feedback. If you don't have a microphone and you use your computer or other device to view the meeting, you can call in using a landline or flip phone for your audio. You must mute the sound on your computer or other device to prevent feedback between it and your phone.
You can call into the meeting with any phone, including a landline or flip phone to attend the meeting without video. Call-in phone numbers are provided below.
