Your attendance at City of Plantation Council meetings and Planning and Zoning Board meetings can have an impact on decisions the city makes that can affect all of us. Please consider going to meetings. You can view agendas for city meetings on the City of Plantation website.
City Council meetings are typically held the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall (400 NW 73rd Avenue). The general public is welcome to attend. Periodically, meetings may be cancelled, and special meetings may be called as needed. Please call City Hall to verify (954-797-2200).
Residents are encouraged to attend City meetings to represent our community. Your attendance will ensure a voice in our city government.

The City of Plantation is proud to launch Everbridge®, a citizen notification system that will share information with residents such as road closures, “be on the lookout for…” messages, emergency/severe weather info and more. What are my trash pickup days for 2025?
Monthly bulk trash begins next week. For East of University, pick up will be between Jan. 6 - 11 and West of University will be Jan. 13 - 18. Regular trash pick up falls twice a week per neighborhood, and recyclables once a week.
