Not all exercises are suitable for everyone and this or any other exercise program may result in unjury. All of the classes at Lauderdale West are for the use of anybody wishing to participate and they can pick and choose classes at will. There are no fees charged. There are no mandatory attendances required or role taken. Participants can just show up without appointment or prior contact.
There are three exercise classes currently running at Lauderdale West.
The classes are geared to a senior group/life style.
1. The Women's class is three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30am in room 113 at the main clubhouse. It is a pre-recorded audio tape (cassette tape) followed by the participants and it runs approximately 45 minutes. The class can run an additional 45 minutes when there is an interest/need for a longer workout using floor mats for the lower body workout.
The other classes open to all - men and women and are at the Satellite Club house using various vcr tapes and/or dvds. The classes are approximatle 45 minutes long.
2. Class is at 9am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
3. Class is at 830am Tuesdays and Thursday.
Walk Aerobics: 1 mile - 15 Minutes indoor Walk Aerobics, 9:15 AM Tuesday & Thursday at the Satellite Clubhouse.
THE SATELLITE CLUBHOUSE IS LOCATED AT CAMPANELLI DRIVE & NW 12 STREET.
