In 20+ years playing tennis here at Lauderdale West, I am
truly fortunate to have enjoyed hitting with many friends and I
know I’m not alone. That said, many people in LW are responsible
for making our courts one of the best private locations in
Broward County! Many heartfelt thanks to:
Joanne Hill & LW Board Members - Joanne, for being my
liaison and to the Board for approvals on court resurfacing and
equipment! You’ve been most gracious and generous!
LW Maintenance Department - for quick setup of court maintenance
equipment and for keeping our courts nicely maintain

Colette & Donald (Satellite Office) - for expediting all those
“‘when can we get it?’” requests! Nice knowing you’re right next

If you’re looking for:
A nice way to start your day, LW’s Social (Doubles) Tennis which
meets 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
For a competitive, less social game, or just to hit, please give
me a call. I play for Veltri Tennis Club’s USTA Women’s 3.5
Singles/Doubles Team, with a network of over 100 players
at various levels who’d be happy to play in ‘pick-up’ singles
or doubles matches. I can fill your calendar with matchplay
to meet your schedule, including day or night league play.
Beginner lessons or to re-engage after a layoff, I can help improve
your game here on our courts at your convenience - for
free! Available by appointment days or evenings. If you prefer
a licensed pro, I have leads for the area’s best.
South Florida offers a plethora of events, locally and free of
charge! Veltri hosts USTA tournaments that see pros ranked
in the 100’s nationally. Sunrise Tennis Center offers the same
and hosts the Davis Cup matches, and local pro tournaments,
e.g. Miami Open, Delray Beach Open & Chris Evert Celebrity
Tournament...for a price!
